Questions you might have
Kipi has thought about these.

How it works
What does Untouched Skies actually do?
It blocks the apps you choose during the hours you choose, using Apple's Screen Time. If you tap a blocked app at night you get a shield instead of the app. In the morning, your night plays back as a constellation.
Which apps can I block?
Any apps or app categories you pick. Phone, Messages, Maps and Camera are never blocked, so you can always be reached.
Does it block websites too?
Not in this version. It blocks apps, not websites in Safari.
Can I choose different hours on different nights?
Everyone sets one window for the week and picks which nights it runs. Different times for some nights, and planned pauses, are part of Premium. Changes that loosen your schedule wait until the next night, so you can't talk yourself out of it at midnight.
What if I really need my phone in an emergency?
Calls and messages are never blocked. There's also a hidden emergency switch, once a night, that lifts everything until morning.
Couldn't I just delete the app or turn it off?
Yes. It's your phone. You can delete the app or turn off Screen Time access in iOS Settings whenever you like. Untouched Skies is a commitment you make to yourself rather than a lock, and it adds friction at the moment you'd otherwise scroll.
Will it fix my sleep?
We don't claim that. It makes late-night scrolling take more effort. What you do with the extra time is up to you.
Will it nag me with notifications?
There's one reminder 30 minutes before your window starts, and you can turn it off. In the morning Kipi only sends a notification if the night went well.
Getting back in
What's an anchor?
Something you keep outside the bedroom, so getting back in means getting up. It can be something that taps, like a passport or ID card, a hotel key, a gym or office fob, a transit card or an NFC sticker, or a product barcode at home. You'll test yours when you set it up. A scan buys 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Anchors are part of Premium, and part of your first 14 nights.
What if I don't want to use an anchor?
You can hold a finger on Kipi for 60 seconds instead, which gets you 5 minutes. That's free.
Does it read my passport?
No. It only checks that a passport is present. It never reads your name, photo or number.
What does unlocking cost me?
Each unlock puts a cloud over part of that night's sky. Too many clouds and you won't spot that night's constellation. That's all it costs.
Are there streaks to lose?
No. There are no streaks and nothing counting against you. A bad night is just weather, and tonight is a new sky.
The constellations
What are the constellations for?
Each night builds one, star by star. Spot it and you collect it as a card. There are 88 constellations and nine finishes to find, 880 cards in all, and the cards tilt and shine as you move your phone.
Can I lose cards?
No. Nothing is ever taken from your collection.
Price
Is it really free?
Yes. Blocking one category, the 60-second hold and the emergency switch stay free. Your first 14 nights include everything, so you can try all of it first.
What do I get if I pay?
A scan to get back in (10, 20 or 30 minutes after you tap a passport, an NFC sticker or a barcode you keep outside the bedroom), every category instead of one, up to three plans instead of one, different hours for different nights and planned pauses, mornings you didn't open waiting for you as cards, extra card packs, and every feature we add later.
Should I pay once or monthly?
It's the same Premium: A$29.99 once, or A$9.99 a month. From the fourth month, paying once works out cheaper.
Will I be charged after the 14 nights?
No. Nothing charges you automatically when the trial ends, and there's nothing to cancel. You choose whether to pay, and the free version carries on if you don't.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
Through your Apple subscriptions in iOS Settings, like any other subscription. Purchases are handled by Apple, and you can restore them from the app's Settings.
Privacy
What data do you collect?
None. Everything stays on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
Can you see which apps I block?
No. Apple shows the names of the apps you choose. Our code never reads them, and nothing about them leaves your phone.
Why would it want Apple Health?
Only if you allow it, the calendar of nights can show your sleep from Apple Health. It's read only while the calendar is on screen and isn't stored by us or sent anywhere.
What about the launch list on this website?
That's separate from the app. Your email address goes to our email provider and is used only for launch news. Read the privacy policy.
Getting it
When can I get it?
It's coming to iPhone on 15 December 2026, starting in Australia.
What do I need?
An iPhone on iOS 26.5 or later.
Is there an Android or iPad version?
Not for now. It's iPhone only.
Can I use it to manage my kids' phones?
No. It's made for you to use on your own phone, and it isn't directed at children under 13.
